I'm finally done all my exams The exam I had today was insane, the professor expected us to write SO much... my hand was already cramping in the first 10 minutes from furiously writing. But who cares about that, now I get to cg (a SHITLOAD which will be impossible to finish by Christmas </wrist> ). Hopefully my cging/drawing skills haven't regressed too much, but that's doubtful because they were never great to begin with and now I haven't drawn or cg'd for months OTL|||

Dear Secret Santa,

Wow, this day could not have been more stressful

I needed a book from my school library for a class I have on Monday (I need to have finished it by this coming Monday o_o), so last week I went to the shelf it was supposed to be at since the website said it was checked in, and to my surprise it's not there. So, I go and ask the librarian where it could possibly be and she tells me that I have to go on their website and put in a request for them to search for it in the library... this process should take a 'few days' (so she says). Not only that but only after they declare it missing can I put in a request for it to be brought in from another library. I filled in the form that day (Friday), wait the weekend and then a couple more days but alas, no email telling me it's missing (or found). I realized that my school library was no longer an option because everything was going too slow and it would be impossible to get the book brought in on time for me to read for my class.

Then I check on the Chapters-Indigo website and it says they have the book in stock, to my great relief. I go to Chapters today, search for the book on their database and guess what? It's not in stock at that location. Guess what else? It's not in stock at ANY location in my area (or the surrounding area) and it will take one month to be brought it. Fabulous. At that point I felt a sense of impending doom but then my mom pointed out that the city library was nearby (multiple floors of books so my hope was increasing). I go to said library and you guessed it, they don't even have the book at all. It's not checked out or missing, just such an unimportant book that they don't even need to carry it! Wow, so at that point I felt as though I might possibly cry because my professor will think I'm a huge failure. Trust me, he'd know if I didn't read it because I have to actually discuss the book with him ._.;; Then I remembered Amazon.com and even found the book in stock but... it takes too long to ship. OTL||||

The book wasn't even at my brother's university library T_T But don't worry, there's a possibly happy ending to this tale. After calling a bunch of my brother's friends (so awkward, it was like "Hi, you don't know me but I'm Rylan's sister) I finally managed to get a hold of one of them who has a copy of the book in his university library and said he'd be able to check it out for me tomorrow (since people who don't go to the university can't check out the book)! Finally a saviour to all this stress. Who knew one book could create such a mess. I REALLY hope he's able to get it for me... if not...

This experience was almost as traumatic as the exam I was 30 mins late for (that seriously shortened my life). I'll never forget the feeling when I looked at my watch and realized I set the alarm for the wrong time. LOL.
