I always go over what I'm going to say in my head, but when I get to the point of talking to the "authority figure" I freeze up, get tongue tide and completely lose what I was going to say.

I'm a rude and direct person, so I don't have trouble speaking to authority. I can also sound proper and polite if I wanted to, but I save that for teachers I want to respect.

Military authority? I'll try my best to do sharp drill and yell sir very loudly, and probably polish my boots too.

Actually its not even the guns. Old deaf people shouting at you to do push ups... XD And well they're not afraid of anything because they've seen war. So they're kinda freakishly inhuman. Tell that to my old Sargent Major.
